Part-Time Household Assistant/Laundry Assistant Glendale, MO

A busy Glendale family is searching for a household assistant.  The role can vary based previous on job tasks and previous experience.  

Responsibilities for Laundry Assistant ($20/hr)

• Sort, wash, and dry laundry (including delicate items as needed)
• Fold, organize, and put away laundry
• Iron and steam clothes
• Change bed linens, make beds
• Keep towels washed, folded, and neatly organized
• Maintain the laundry area clean and organized
• Manage and monitor laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, etc.) and notify the family of any needed restocks

Responsibilities for Laundry+ ($20-$30/hr)

• General Cleaning: Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in all rooms to keep living spaces spotless.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Wipe down appliances, counters, sinks, and cabinet doors; wash, dry, and put away dishes.
• Trash & Recycling: Remove garbage and recycling from all rooms and ensure proper disposal.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and restock essential household items such as toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels as needed.
• Tidying & Light Organization: General tidying in living areas, including putting away toys, decluttering, and light organizing to create a neat, orderly environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow specific cleaning instructions and adapt to household preferences.
• Reliable, punctual, and respectful of the family’s privacy and home.
• Efficient and organized with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
• Strong Communication skills.
