FullTime Household Manager, Creve Coeur, MO
TLC Family Care is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and flexible Household Manager to support a busy family of six(plus a family friendly dog!) This role is ideal for someone who thrives on multitasking, enjoys managing both household and family needs, and can work seamlessly alongside another nanny. The Household Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple properties, ensure smooth scheduling, and provide occasional hands-on childcare support.
Job Duties May Include:
- Managing household schedules, calendars, appointments, and coordinating maintenance/projects across multiple properties
- Shopping for groceries and supplies, running errands, and organizing travel or events for the family
- Assisting with childcare as needed (activities, routines, transportation, meals, hygiene), while working alongside the family’s nanny
- Overseeing home organization and light household chores (laundry, tidying, dishes, trash)
- Coordinating pet care (scheduling grooming/boarding) and providing occasional house or pet sitting
- Managing household accounts and bill paying with confidentiality
- Staying flexible to assist during emergencies or unexpected schedule changes
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in childcare and home management
- Independent thinker who takes initiative and can problem-solve
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality of the family
- Able to work collaboratively
- Up-to-date on vaccinations (COVID, Flu, TDAP, Hepatitis, MMR)
- CPR certified
