A busy family in Chesterfield, MO is looking for a nurturing, caring, and independent Household Manager/Nanny for their three school-aged children.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with older school-aged children and be able to connect with them, help with homework, encourage reading, and promote independence. The family is looking for someone who will guide and encourage the children to do things for themselves rather than simply doing things for them.

Mornings include preparing breakfast, packing lunches, helping the children get ready, and getting them to the bus. While the children are at school, responsibilities include laundry, groceries and errands, dishes, tidying, light cleaning, and being available for contractors/service providers. There will also be occasional deeper cleaning projects.

After school, the nanny will meet the children at the bus, prepare a snack, help clean out lunch boxes, assist with homework, and provide a warm, engaged presence until the parents are finished with work.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, nurturing, dependable, and able to work independently. Most importantly, the family is looking for someone who will help manage the household while encouraging the children to become confident, capable, and responsible.
