Position title

A family relocating to Frontenac is seeking an experienced Household Assistant to provide comprehensive household support and help create a calm, organized, and well-functioning home. The primary focus of this role is household support, including family meal preparation, laundry, organization, errands, and maintaining tidy, functional living spaces.  Mom stays at home homeschooling the two oldest children. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Family meal preparation(simple recipe provided)
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Managing household laundry
• Maintaining a tidy home, including common areas and children's spaces
• Running errands such as pharmacy pickups, returns, dry cleaning, and package management
• Preschool drop-off and pickup for the family's youngest child
• Anticipating household needs and proactively addressing them
• Light childcare support as needed, including supervising children during activities, assisting with snacks, and providing coverage while mom attends appointments or focus on individual child
• Seasonal organizing projects and travel preparation assistance

Ideal Candidate

• Have several years of experience as a Household Assistant, Family Assistant, Household Manager, or in a Nanny-Household hybrid role.
• Be dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy.
• Have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Be warm, patient, calm, and comfortable around young children.
• Have experience with or an understanding of neurodivergent children and be supportive of a neurodiversity-affirming parenting approach.
• Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to provide occasional childcare support when needed.
• Non-smoker
• Hold current CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain certification.
