How Do Pay, PTO, and Taxes Work at TLC?

We know that pay, PTO, and taxes can sometimes feel confusing, especially when you are new to TLC. This guide is designed to help answer some of the most common caregiver questions and point you toward the right resources.

TLC’s pay week runs from Sunday through Saturday, with deposits typically made on the following Friday. In some cases, your bank may show the deposit earlier depending on processing times.

Paystubs are available through your My FrankCrum account. Please note that paystubs generally appear on Fridays, even if your bank shows the deposit earlier.

You can access your paystub portal here:

If your pay ever looks incorrect:

  • Double-check the pay period dates
  • Review the shifts included in that pay cycle
  • Confirm your worked shifts were properly completed in the scheduling system
  • Contact the TLC office if something still appears incorrect

Cancellation pay may apply in certain situations if a shift is canceled and TLC is unable to provide you with a replacement shift.

Current cancellation pay guidelines include:

  • Paid at your base rate
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: 4 hours of pay
  • Less than 3 hours’ notice: up to 8 hours of pay

For PTO questions, including how PTO is earned, requested, approved, and paid, please review the TLC Caregiver Benefits page:
