Love working with children? Looking for flexible childcare jobs in Orlando where your work can make a real difference for local families?

Join the TLC Family Care team.

TLC Family Care is looking for experienced, dependable caregivers to provide backup childcare for Disney employees and other working families throughout the Orlando community.

When school is closed, a regular caregiver is unavailable, or childcare plans unexpectedly change, backup care allows parents to get to work knowing their children are in great hands. That's where you come in.

For more than 40 years, TLC Family Care has connected experienced caregivers with families who need dependable childcare. Now we're growing our Orlando team and looking for caregivers who want flexible, meaningful work in their local community.

Flexible Backup Childcare Jobs in Orlando

Backup care is different from a traditional nanny position. Instead of working with one family every day, you'll have opportunities to care for different children and families throughout the Orlando area.

We are especially looking for caregivers who have at least 3 full days of availability between 8 AM and 6 PM.

The more availability you provide, the more opportunities we may be able to offer you.

Assignments may include:

  • Backup childcare for Disney employees
  • Employer-sponsored backup care for other Orlando families
  • Flexible daytime nanny and babysitting jobs
  • School holiday and school-closure care
  • Daycare and childcare center substitute staffing
  • Date-night and weekend babysitting
  • Hotel and travel childcare
  • Event and group childcare
  • Full-time and part-time nanny positions

Tell us when you're available, the ages you enjoy working with, and how far you're comfortable traveling. We'll work to connect you with opportunities that fit.

Make a Difference for Disney Families in Your Community

Thousands of people throughout Central Florida work for Disney and other major Orlando employers. Their jobs don't stop when school closes or their regular childcare falls through.

A dependable backup caregiver can make all the difference.

You may spend the day caring for a child at home, preparing meals and snacks, playing games, reading, doing crafts, getting outside, or helping with the child's normal routine.

For you, it's a day spent doing work you enjoy.

For the parent, you're the reason they can get to work.

That's what makes backup care such an important service to our Orlando community.
