Meaningful Work To Supplement Your Creative Work

You don’t need to Drive Uber to supplement your acting or art career.

Not everyone is looking for a traditional nine-to-five job.

Some of our favorite caregivers are artists, musicians, performers, writers, and other creative professionals who have built childcare into their lives in a way that supports their passions.

One of our caregivers performs in local theater productions. She loves being on stage, but auditions, rehearsals, and performances don’t always provide consistent income. Child care gives her flexibility. She often works three full days a week with TLC families and keeps evenings available for rehearsals and performances. The children adore her energy, imagination, and storytelling skills.

She’s not alone.

Over the years we’ve worked with musicians, visual artists, photographers, actors, dancers, and writers who appreciate having flexible work that fits around creative careers.

Families often love these caregivers because they bring unique experiences into children’s lives. They inspire creativity, encourage imagination, and make everyday activities fun.At TLC Family Care, we believe meaningful work and personal passions should be able to coexist.

For more than 40 years, our local South Florida team (as well as our teams in Atlanta, Chicago, St Louis and more!) has helped talented people create schedules that support both their careers and their dreams.

Sometimes the best job isn’t the one that replaces your passion. It’s the one that helps make it possible. Contact us today!
